The Profound Prints: Art by Exceptional Women exhibition showcases the bold and varied works of women printmakers from the 1970s to the present. This collection celebrates the creativity and diverse approaches of these artists, who have each developed their own unique artistic vocabularies, enriching the art world with their distinct perspectives. The exhibition features a range of subjects, from nature and the built environment to self-portraits.

Featuring works by prominent artists like Louise Bourgeois, Faith Ringgold, and Kara Walker, among others. The exhibition also includes prints created for the National Museum of Women in the Arts' 10th anniversary portfolio. The variety of printmaking techniques on display, including relief prints, etchings, and lithographs, reflects the depth and breadth of these artists' contributions to the field.
